At Colliefields, I recently enjoyed a charming getaway that struck just the right balance for a short escape from the city. While we opted for a budget family room, the most remarkable aspect was the restaurant downstairs. Picture this: a surf and turf that was not only indulgent but designed to satisfy even the heartiest appetite. And yes, we did bring leftovers back to our room since the portions were nothing short of generous! The restaurant exuded a cozy vibe, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring local attractions within walking distance. A hearty breakfast was included, although our experience was somewhat limited to out-of-code cereal-an unexpected twist in the morning routine. I do remember wishing for a hot cup of coffee to start the day.
